**You must complete TMT Level 1 training before you can access this course.** Trauma Model Therapy Level 2 is self-paced, non-interactive, recorded asynchronous distance learning providing instruction on the psychotherapy modality created by Dr. Colin A. Ross. This course is appropriate for all licensed mental health and addictions professionals. Course objectives: 1) Discover more about the TMT Mindset & what you need to keep in mind as a TMT Clinician as you guide & support people 2) Summarize the Stages of Trauma Recovery 3) Explain the meaning & purpose of Therapeutic Neutrality & why it’s crucial to working with survivors of trauma 4) Describe how medication is used to treat the symptoms of complex trauma 5) Exhibit confidence in being able to work with people who engage in various forms of self-harm behavior 6) Demonstrate the General TMT Treatment Techniques 7) Apply TMT ethics to both client work & interactions with other professionals, which include the TMT stance on boundaries 8) Compare how TMT can be utilized in tandem with DBT Skills 9) Analyze the differences & similarities between TMT & EMDR & how TMT can be incorporated into the 8 stages of EMDR Content level: Intermediate Course requirements: This course contains multiple video lessons within 5 learning modules. You will complete testing after each lesson & must score 80% or higher on each quiz. You have unlimited quiz retakes. You must complete all content & an end-of-course evaluation & then your CE certificate will be downloadable in your account.
