Trauma Model Therapy Level 1 is a self-paced, non-interactive video training course that provides an introduction to the psychotherapy modality created by Dr. Colin A. Ross. This course is appropriate for all licensed mental health professionals. Course objectives for Trauma Model Therapy Level 1: 1) Explain the history & the meaning of dissociation 2) Describe the 5 principles of Trauma Model Therapy 3) Differentiate between the 5 Dissociative Disorders 4) Demonstrate how to screen for trauma & dissociation 5) Determine how to recognize, assess, diagnose & explain Dissociative Identity Disorder Content level: Intermediate Course requirements: This course contains multiple video lessons within 5 learning modules. You will complete testing after each lesson & must score 80% or higher on each quiz. You have unlimited quiz retakes. You must complete all content & an end-of-course evaluation, & then your CE certificate will be issued to you with 48 hours. BHEC CE hours: 7 For this particular course, we are authorized by the Texas BHEC to offer CE hours to all Texas BHEC license types listed in the Fine Print area below and also including Psychologists, LPA, LSP. CE hours for this course are available via CE Broker for: AZ, KS, TN, ND. CE Broker Tracking # 20-1327726. Social workers completing this course receive 7 General CE credits.
